Senior portraits that actually feel like you

NEW BEDFORD & SOUTH COAST SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER

WELCOME, SENIORS!

You don’t have to know what you’re doing in front of the camera

You don’t need to know how to pose. You don’t need to have every detail figured out. And you definitely don’t have to walk into your session feeling completely comfortable in front of a camera.

That’s my job.

Whether you want something simple and low-key or a session built around your style, sport, favorite place, pet, or personality, we’ll create senior portraits that feel like an honest reflection of who you are right now.

You bring yourself. I’ll guide you through the rest.

YOUR SESSION, YOUR WAY

SENIOR PORTRAITS THAT FEEL LIKE YOU

Most people don’t step in front of a camera already knowing how to pose—and I would never expect you to. I’ll help with all of that as we go, from where to stand to what to do with your hands.

Your session doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s, either. We can keep things simple, include your sport or favorite hobby, bring your dog, or choose a location that already means something to you.

  • We’ll make it personal: Your ideas are always welcome, and I’m happy to help if you aren’t sure where to begin.
  • I’ll guide you: You won’t be left standing in front of my camera wondering what you’re supposed to do.
  • You’ll still look like yourself: I keep my editing natural and true to color. The goal is for you to look your best without turning you into someone you don’t recognize.

SENIOR PORTRAIT INVESTMENT

THE SIGNATURE COLLECTION

Young man in cap sitting on green John Deere tractor surrounded by pink flowers and trees.

A good fit for the senior who wants to keep things simple and doesn’t necessarily want to spend a full hour in front of the camera.

We’ll work within one location and focus on one main outfit, although adding a jacket, jersey, or another easy layer can give us a little more variety without taking time away from photographs. There’s still room to include a sport, instrument, or something else that matters to you—we’ll just plan ahead and keep things moving.

Your session includes:

  • Up to 30 minutes of photography
  • One location
  • One main outfit
  • An easy layer or jersey addition, if desired
  • Help choosing a location and planning what to wear
  • Guidance with posing throughout the session
  • A professionally edited online gallery
  • High-resolution digital downloads
  • Personal printing rights
  • If applicable: Yearbook portrait preparation and upload assistance

The Storytelling Collection

Baseball pitcher in white uniform tosses a ball on the mound surrounded by baseballs with a scoreboard in background.

A better fit if you want more time, more variety, or a session that includes several parts of your personality.

An hour gives us time for one full outfit change and more freedom to move around the location.

It also works well if you’d like to include a sport, hobby, pet, vehicle, or another personal element without feeling like we’re watching the clock the entire time.

Your session includes:

  • Up to 60 minutes of photography
  • One primary location
  • Time for one full outfit change
  • Room to include sports, hobbies, pets, or meaningful items
  • Help choosing a location and planning what to wear
  • Guidance with posing throughout the session
  • A professionally edited online gallery
  • High-resolution digital downloads
  • Personal printing rights
  • If applicable: Yearbook portrait preparation and upload assistance

Testimonials
Young person in a burgundy button-down shirt and khaki pants poses confidently against a white wall with greenery in background.

Maggie made me feel so comfortable and heard during my photo shoot. I had senior portraits done and any idea I had she would make sure came to life. She would casually suggest an idea that would flourish into some of my favorite photos taken. She works with your personality and makes sure it portrays itself beautifully through her work. They say they don’t make them like they used too, well, clearly they haven’t met Maggie.

We came to my daughter’s senior photo session with some ideas tying into her school activities. Maggie was so receptive and worked with us to bring those ideas to fruition. She took the time to meet with us ahead of time to discuss our ideas and answer any questions. We found her to be patient, creative, and kind. We felt so comfortable with her immediately. I highly recommend her as a photographer for senior photos and other events.

Everything You Need to Know About Your Session

DURATION

Choose between a 30-minute or 60-minute senior session.

A 30-minute session is ideal for someone who wants a simple, low-key experience with one main outfit and one location.

A 60-minute session gives us more time for an outfit change, additional variety, and personal elements such as sports, hobbies, or pets.

LOCATION

Your location should support the style and overall feeling you want for your portraits.

We can head to the cobblestone streets of downtown New Bedford, a South Coast beach, a garden, a wooded trail, an athletic field, or somewhere personally meaningful to you.

You’re welcome to arrive with a location in mind, but you don’t have to. I’m always happy to offer recommendations and help you choose.

OUTFITS

Start with something that makes you feel comfortable and confident.

Solid colors and subtle patterns photograph beautifully, but you do not need to buy an entirely new wardrobe or dress more formally than you normally would.

For a 30-minute session, I recommend one complete outfit with an easy layer or jersey if you would like a little variety.

For a 60-minute session, we’ll have time for one full outfit change.

You’re also welcome to send me photographs of the outfits you’re considering before the session.

PETS ARE WELCOME

If your pet is part of your story, they are welcome to join us.

Please let me know beforehand so we can choose a pet-friendly location. I also recommend bringing another person who can help with your pet when they are not being photographed.

This session is all about making you feel at ease while capturing beautiful, authentic photos that reflect who you are at this exciting moment in your life.

Every senior brings something different!
